The Importance of Drinking Coca-Cola After a Swim
There is no scientific evidence that drinking Coca-Cola or any similar drink after an open water swim will reduce the likelihood of getting an upset stomach. Drink cola after a swim if you enjoy it, but don't expect it to protect you. You should not swim at least in the waters in Los Angeles within three days of rain,. The rain washes a lot of chemicals and crap into the ocean.
