The Effects of the Pandemic on Foot Traffic
Central business districts that are areas where a lot of people who worked in person went into work before the pandemic have seen like I think pretty much no matter the city, the sharpest decline. If retailers start to move inventory and labor dollars toward other stores in more residential areas, for example, then you can get sort of a ghost town feeling which discourages even further foot traffic and sales.
