Zero Knowledge Proof Systems - What Was the Starting Point?
ZK: Originally it was just discovering that the sort of PCP theorem was in fact true, although not necessarily useful. But then I think the one that really got me excited initially was the cycles of elliptic curves. Recursion is one of the key components that makes scaling possible. So I started working on implementations of that. And yeah, I get a working recursion for a simpler system than the current proof system we have right now that was down to 15 seconds. That's super cool.
