Is There Any Evidence That Biotin Helps Diabetes?
There's no evidence whatsoever that there's any dose of biotin that does something, um, different than what nutritional biotin does to activate biotin dependent enzymes. The problem is that everyone is marginally suboptimal and biotin by and large, especially if they're eating a lot of protein. So you take a diabetic who's been marginally deficient for the last 30 or 40 years and you pop in a high dose. What all you're doing is correcting the deficient or the marginal suboptimal status, uh, just really fast instead of taking six months to do it.
