The History of Exif
We weren't completely aware that some of this data was stripped from certain services. Because they reformat the picture, so they basically kind of compress it again or turn into a thumbnail. You generally don't bother to transfer the text. But that's a privacy issue as well. If I'm sending something, why would you manipulate my photo before it comes to the receivers? And Discord app that my kids use actually to talk when they're gaming. That does not strip the data in the photo. Sometimes it might just be an accidental consequence of something else.
