The Communist Manifesto says that the whole thing can be summed up in one phrase, and that's the abolition of property. That's why all collectivist regimes do not like people to have property because it gives them independence. And so you don't have the property. Now guess who controls who? If you don't do what you're told, you'll be kicked out of the house. So they gotcha.
