The midterm elections are over. We have a split Congress. How do you see a situation like this affecting the markets if at all? Well I think we can rule out the prospects that there are going to be any major physical policy changes. There is no incentive politically for the two parties to get together to pursue either or to agenda. The real impact here of a divided government is that it puts more pressure on the Fed to try to stimulate the economy and raises issues in the long run about their ability to incredibly fight inflation.
