The Trial of Thomas Lubanger

Congolese warlords Thomas Lubanger was the first person ever to be arrested, extradited and convicted by the international criminal court. He was sentenced to 14 years in jail for recruiting using child soldiers as part of his rebel army. Children as young as 11 years old recruited from their homes and schools to take part in the fighting.
