When I was a kid, my mom was very lenient and not very strict with whoever. But if I was staying at someone's house or if I was hanging out with somebody, like when I was very young, she would call the parents to check on me. There was no such thing as an iPad babysitter back when I was a child. It's just important to make sure you know what your kids are doing and not just taking their word for it.
