The Story of Lucretia
Lucretia's story is fascinating. She's an ancient roman woman, before the roman republic,. and there rome is still being run by the etruscans aand in a kingship. A prince rapes lucretia, but sort of talks to her, and says, look, either we ruin your reputation a by you refusing me, or i kill you. And so she gave in and was with him. But as soon as he assumed she'd keep the secret, because it ruined her reputation insteade, she gathered her men folk, of family and friends, and in front of them, told them what happened, and then stabbed herself.
