The Only Sane Man in the Room

The story is set after all of humanity has been wiped out by a giant supercomputer called Am. We are left in the mind of Ted the narrator, one of five human beings whom Am has left alive purely for the sake of being able to torture them. The only way to defeat Am and its game rate, I realized was to render him incapable of exercising his powers on the very hating he can do. He takes icicles off the walls surrounding these cans and begins stabbing them to death. And ultimately, the only thing Am can do is kill his toys so they become titular creatures glorified with anything that will help them survive.
