Habber's Process for Making Ammonia Out of Hydrogen and Nitrogen
In the 19th century, a german named habber figured out how to make synthetic nitrogen fertilizer. He did it by mixing atmospheric nitrogen and hydrogen in his laboratory. The first internal combustion engines ran on this type of gas. This is the fundamental base of all our fertilizer in the world. And even now you have this ammonia in the air because there's no regulation for nitrogen in the air.
