The Importance of Spiritual Connection in Politics

I think what has happened in India really cannot be explained by reference to political events or economic decisions. He's someone who has sensed very shrewdly that India consists, mostly consists of people who feel humiliated all the time. And for people who have suffered that kind of cruelty and humiliation, he holds out a fantasy of power - even if it's achieved by abusing somebody or other. This is a connection, an emotional connection, a spiritual connection. No politician before in India in the last seven decades has had this kind of connection with Indian population at large. This is what makes him invincible.
