"We in the Black community are not really overly concerned about the feelings of other people who are polarized by the idea of us getting cash reparations back," he says. "I don't want reparations contingent on how another group feels about it or how another group is going to look at it or get upset about it." He adds, "If we're not trying to pretend that these things don't exist, there is no systemic racism... You just need to work harder".
