The Neuroprotective Effects of Cannabinoids

The serotonin receptor is known to be involved in a lot of the neurological, the brain responses to CBD. So it was primarily by the serotonin receptor and this other nuclear receptor I mentioned before called PPAR. We also looked at some of the endocannabinoids and we found that there were two in particular that also had this kind of protective function on the blood brain barrier - OEA and PEA.
