The Importance of Detail in Autism

Autism feels like our need for detail is actually disproportionate to non-autistic people. It's almost like we require a motivation or a purpose behind the thing or the task. We aren't really hobby people, you know what I'm saying? Or social people with regards to the things that we're passionate about.
