What Are the Different Inflections?
There are four or five types that I focus on. And the most important one to me is technology inflections. Moore's law, speed of bandwidth and accuracy of GPS locator per dollar all play a role. Then you've got adoption inflection; smartphone adoption will go from 10% in 2010 to 50% by 2015. You can do telemedicine across state lines which creates window of opportunity for somebody to build a company premised on that when you couldn't have in the past. A belief inflection is when something goes from being a heresy to seeming pretty reasonable to most people. And then there's a fifth one that I haven't fully developed, I call paradigm inflection
