The Back and Forth Between the Government and Donald Trump's Counsel
A protective order is not an uncommon thing in criminal cases when the government is going to be handing over discovery that includes sensitive information. But here the government has made it clear it has a massive amount of discovery ready to provide to Donald Trump, but some of it includes sensitive information and personal identifying information. So this shouldn't have been a big deal; as you can tell, it shouldn't have were one.
