The supernatural is an attempt to sort of give it a new language that is more contemporary and in some way simpler. It also functions as a kind of colon or riddle, you know, with that little space there. We're not trying to reduce the supernatural to just some kind of materialism. But we clearly don't want to suggest in the book either that it's the same old, same old.
