In 1775, the second Continental Congress commissioned a young man named Captain Samuel Nicholas to raise two battalions that would become the first continental Marines. The Marine Corps started in a bar, which is very much still part of our ethos today. In Bella Wood, we see more casualties on June 6th alone than the core has seen in its entire history since the American Revolution. And by the time the campaign's over over those few weeks of fighting in Bella Wood, We have more deaths even forget even the wounded and the MIA just deaths alone more in Bella Wood than any in USA for the Marine Corps.
