Freud's Dynamic Account of the Unconscious

Freud is interested in situations where something comes into being for over-determined reasons, and it's not a monocasal thing but that produces these things together to produce something of complexity. The key thing for the Freudian perspective is when you have a human mind with a sensorium, whatever it is we want to call it. This is what's at stake in some conversations you'll do later about the death drive, et cetera. But all that said, I think what's most important for our purposes now,. and that might be most interesting for the caller, is Freud's fascination with unconscious.
