Shoe was taken the penitentiary t Tuesday morning in the custody of sheriff nichol and deputy dwyer. He died on march first, 19 hundred, just two half years later, apparently from an epidemic. So since he died from an epidemic or a pestilence, for him, it was a pestilential prison with a lifelong lock. If this report accurate, then it could have been the house creaking on its own due to the temperature fluctuations that occur during the day. Either that or shoe had an unknown accomplice.
