The majority of cattle feed is not eaten by cattle. Majority, what cows eat is the leftovers. That stuff is heavily subsidized by gardens all over the world. And the subsidies are what drive its production and drive its inclusion in the diet of people across the world. The whole thing needs advocates along the lines of Alex Epstein.
