The New Testament Vocabulary for the Return of Christ

Paul talks about the same event that Jesus discussed in his Olivet Discourse, namely the return of Christ. The word parousia is often translated by the word coming or appearing. apocalypsis is translated revelation, the revealing or disclosing of something. A third word is epiphenaea which will often be translated by the English word appearance.
