The Knock of the Door Always Comes Unsolicited

Danielle: For me, personally, my experiences came unsolicited. You know, the knock of the door always comes unsolicited or it comes without warning. I had to make a clear choice as to how I was going to live my life from that moment forward. And one of the most powerful things that happened that I consider the moment of encountering my mentor was my own mother. She just did what she needed to do and that was the example I needed to follow.
