Dogs are sensitive to smell. When they're smelling a variety of things that matter to them, their brain just lights up. So if you let them outside to sniff around where other dogs have been, they will exhaust themselves mentally. And so I took my dog out in the morning and had her, and I didn't walk her. The sniff is actually the part the dog needed.
