The Importance of Technology in Design
At 24 years old I was suddenly a creative director of like 20 people. We had to figure out how to make the maps using computers and then we had to collaborate so all the maps looked like one person did it. My bosses didn't really get me with the high hair and the loud voice they they weren't really appreciative of my New Yorkness so they threw me to cartographer as if it was like the bad thing to do but I blossomed as a cartographer.
