The Importance of Interviews in Coaching Interventions

The CEO was really my client. I facilitated a process of as a group, identifying what the goals would be. That particular person, sort of, they just pulled out of the process. So it ended up being that that person did not engage. The CEO continued to play the bridge building role between that person and the rest of the organization. And interestingly, from the hierarchical orientation, when the CEO said these were the behaviors and you do to change, much more comfortable with that than being asked to be in dialogue.
