What Are the Hardest Times of Year?
Timing is everything. For every action you do with anything you sew, you have a ten day window. The hardest time of year to have any decent crop is april, may and even june because your winter crops have all finished. Plants are much more sensitive to light than people give them credit for. And it's worth mentioning that the reason why we don't sew in october, say, or november, is because there isn't enough light.
