Is There a Difference Between the State and Individuals?
Modern laws are injecting a degree of arbitrariness into the decision making process. They again, overtaken this individualistic viewpoint that the decision should rest with he or she who is affected. But we've abstracted that into the state model and created layers of bureaucracy which distort the will and intent to solve problems. Even criminals have rights even if they don't give away their right to life.
