CNN's John Sutter has been reporting on Moore's Law Acceleration since 1977. The cost of computing is falling at an accelerating rate, but in the last two years it hasn't stopped. Silicon Valley doesn't really take that into account, says Sutter. And so there was a wonderful moment when DARPA Robotics Challenge teams built terminator-style machines and only three were able to even complete tasks.
