Is Your Reading Process Different From Your Book Review?
There arere two very distinct approaches to reading the same book. When i assign a book for a class, i'm generally thinking about what broader themes i'm attempting to survey in a course or a seminar. And then you'll see segments of the essay where i review each book on its merits, and then i try to tie that in a conclusion. For the review of books, which is just three books, that's very much more about trying to set up in a story of graphical foundation for how these books speak to the black radical tradition.
