i was about 21 at this point, and id moved to london. The only thing i had was jimmy carr's collection of joke books. Heh's got such a wonderful collection. And in some cases, he would rewrite a completely new joke based on a joke that was sitting there. It was just purely a new joke where he clearly was just testing the mechanic of the set up.
