Wheel of Time: A Conversation With the Genre
One thing that I want to flag about Wheel of Time and with a lot of older texts is that sometimes it's not necessarily that the reader has gotten older. A lot of times a text is groundbreaking when it comes out because many people have copied it. When you hand an older text to a reader that it sometimes feels like he's not. And this is actually one of the points that I wanted to bring about this is that the genre is a conversation with itself. Yes.
