How to Use an Exclamation Point in an Email

If you're sending one sentence over text, no period unless it requires a question mark or an exclamation point. That is the standard way to text. I think people over 40 use emojis more than people under 30. Is it because they're too emotive and we're too dark and moody and we don't want that? It's like grew up in the age where you were doing like Morse code and sending telegrams.
