The Church's Response to Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin: When the church is not humble enough to listen to critique and cling to power, it will just exclude anyone who wants to critique it. And modern evangelicalism needs to learn from that because like, are you just going to exclude everyone who has a critique or are you going to humbly look inside? Martin: We need to dismantle this celebrity culture. We need to rethink our engagement with the political discourse in this country. You know, we need to rethink all these things and come back to the message of Jesus in the scriptures.
