Gerard's Christianity Theory?
i'm not that convinced by a but by gerard's sort of defence of christianity. Gerard considers his theological project as what he calls an anthropology of the cross. He is able to translate a whole host of christian phenomena into readily understandable anthropology, anthropological language. For example, the antichrist is hypocritical progressive movements. Satan is reactionary movements. Jesus is revelation isn't primarily about how to achieve peace in this world. And far are we from the sort of inquiry into the trinity of aquinas? Gerard barely brings up the next world at all, and he barely bring up the salvation of the soul.
