The Effects of Ventilation on CO2 Washout and Oxygenation in Out of Hospital Cardiovascular Arrest
The study took place between November 2020 and October 2021 during COVID. 206 patients in our hospital cardiac arrest were attended by this PRU, but 119 of them didn't receive ALS. Patients in the 20 breaths per minute group receive a significantly higher expiratory minute volume at 8.8 litres versus 4.9 without higher mean airway pressures or peak airway pressures. But obviously worth noting that the study wasn't powered to find that. In the limitations of this small study, Rosk rates also does not appear to be affected. So Rob, what did you think about this one?
