The Importance of Virtue in Moral Behavior

Aquinas said that the intellect knows things and that the intellect informs the will. Scodists are suggesting that the will isn't necessarily a, you know, something that's like on the leash of the intellect. So basically when in acting virtuously or morally, you're acting morally, is it reason that determines what you ought to do? Like which one do we focus on? Thomas following Aristotle, his conception generally is that reason, reason gives you decide what is the good in the situation.
