Is Every Mental Function a Physical Event?
Osid: I'm not a cartesian dualist for sure. But we are a kind of duellist, you might call im a functional duelist. The argument here is that if you had the three physical patterns that correspond to those three mental patterns, there wouldn't be a physical thing, necessarily, that they have in common that corresponds to them. Osid: proper characterization of how a behavior is organized isn't at the level of physical events.
