So a feature then is part of the set of inputs that you are feeding into your model. So an example would be I might have a bunch of features about a perspective shopper like let's say their age maybe the last 10 things they had searched for will be in there encoded. And then later on you can basically use that model to predict the outcome from just the inputs. Yeah so I'm trying to figure out where features fit into the greater set of tools that you would use if we are talking sort of personalization here for example. There's kinds of recommender systems it sounds like these are a kind of problem right?
