The Atomistic Need

Atoms, as we know them, they initially may have thought they found something like what Democritus was talking about. Then you can find quarks beneath that and plank particles and all of these things. We have never hit the bedrock of finding what is the indivisible substance substrate which all matter is built out of. The reason it would be very important for it to be indivisible is because that would be something that stands still or stands fast. That would be something essential. It would be something self-identical enduring. All of these things that Nietzsche basically says don't actually exist in nature in the phenomenal world that only exist as conceptions basically.
