Cuthbert, Virginia's Life Story
Virginia Hall was forced to flee France over the Pyrenees Mountains into neutral Spain. She had lost her left leg in a hunting accident while on holiday in Turkey. An obscure law prevented amputees from becoming fully fledged diplomats. When war broke out, she decided to contact London and have Cuthbert eliminated.
