In early 30s Germany, it looked more like the US than we'd like to admit. And you're not seeing that in the United States. What I would argue though is that we're electing people who were doing it in a more insidious fashion. For 40 years now, we've been producing more female college graduates than male college graduates. There's not 28% of our elected leaders are female.
