The Limits of the Cortex-Cast Method

The number of cells that we can activate at any one time is ultimately going to be limited. We know what the limits are with our lasers right now in terms of photodamage. So we obviously work below that limit. But keep in mind, we can hit another 100 neurons 10 milliseconds later. And we're only really limited by the duty cycle of how often we want to do that for unit time. The technology does allow us to do that within, I think, two fundamental limits.
