The Point of Absentencing Messages

Snapchat and its disappearing message successors were aimed at automating data retention agreements between trusted parties. The problem is that humans are fallible, so they get distracted by the revolution or a lawsuit of a union fight. If you and i agree to disappearing messages as a means of audimating our agreement, then we have to truly freely agree without any coercion.
