The Importance of Respecting the Decay of Cymbals
Had an interesting conversation with a drummer actually, very related to this. He revealed that he'd been in Korea learning about drumming there. And like, for them, when a cymbal is ringing out, they talk about it in terms of It's still part of the sound. You have to respect the decay in a different way. Oh, yeah.
