The Hard Work of Writing

The work on the book was probably a thousand and one nights, let's say three years. I hate to hear writers whining about how hard their work is. Can we use four liter words on this program? You can use whatever you want. It's souped in nuts. Good way to look at that. We're fed, we're healthy, we have a roof over our shoulders. Presumably, you know, someone gives a shit what you have to say. And that's the sort of assumption behind writing anything.
