The Myth of Fasting
People are concerned that fasting is going to damage their gallbladder and then they're going to have to have their gallbladders removed. But you know, it's years and years and years of not eating enough fat to empty out that bile. So alternate day fasting is not causing damage to your gallbladder. And even if you are hoping to do some extended fasting, it's not five or 10 days of fasting and then eating right after that, that's going to cause damage. Remember, it's the low fat craze which caused this very unfortunately common gallbladder disease in so many people.
