Staring Into That Was More Terrifying Than Any Nightmare

I traded one nightmare for another breed of horror. Staring into that was more terrifying than any nightmare i'd ever had. A gaping black mal waiting, hungry. I couldn't look away from it. It was mesmerizing in its unending nothingness. The horror of it alluring, tempting with its dark embrace. And every second it was eating away at me, dissolving me until i was immaterial nothing. Some days i wanted to die. Oh please, i think take me.
